  NanoPack is an EU-funded project that will develop state-of-the-art antimicrobial packaging solutions for perishable foods based on natural nanomaterials that will prevent food-borne illness outbreaks and reduce food waste caused by early spoilage.

NanoPack- Workshop at CTIC-CITA in Zaragoza

A NanoPack workshop will be held on 21^th of May 2019 at Hotel NH ciudad de Zaragoza, Spain. It will be coordinated by NanoPack and hosted by CTIC-CITA. The topic is “Nanotechnology: An untapped approach in food”. Many speakers from various institutions will talk about nanotechnology, nanosafety, packaging in food industry and more. You can find the provisional agenda below.

This workshop is open to anyone who is interested in nanotechnology. A webinar from all the presentations will be uploaded and available on NanoPack’s website!

Later, the 3^rd Working Package Leaders meeting will also take place. Its objective will be to review the project’s process. For each work package, the main achievements and the activity planning for the rest of the year will be discussed.
